SAMPLING SUPPLIES:
Currently, all sampling supplies/sample kits are requested through Client Services.
Please call (901) 213-2400 or e-mail your request to clientservices@etcmemphis.com to request supplies or a sample kit.
ETC, Inc. routinely provides sample kits designed specifically for each sampling event. Our Client Service Center will track and schedule sample kits for all routine sampling events. Once the routine event is schedule through Client Services, the client never need be concerned with receiving a sample kit at the right time. Our system automatically tracks and schedules these shipments to coincide with client expectations.
Of course, not all sampling events are routine. This same system will handle single project sampling events as well.
Sample kits include:
- Cooler(s)
- Project Container Summary Form – This form will detail which container is required for each specific test according to EPA protocols.
- Sample container(s) specific to the requested analysis.
- Chemical preservation specific to the requested analysis.
- Chain-of-Custody Form(s)
- Label(s)
- Custody Seal(s)
- Basic Sampling/Shipping Instructions
ETC, Inc. will ship sample kits to the client (office or site) by GROUND UPS at no additional charge. Any expedited shipping service (Next Day/Priority) will be billed to the client. The client will be responsible for the return shipment to the laboratory unless otherwise specified in a subcontract agreement.
Our sampling kits are designed to ensure that the client understands the overall sampling protocol requirements and to make the sampling event go as smooth as possible. Please contact our Client Services Representative if you have any questions. We encourage clients to call prior to the sampling event to verify these requirements.
It is ETC, Inc.’s policy that a chain-of-custody record must accompany all samples that arrive at the laboratory.
