Turnaround Time

Turnaround time (TAT) is defined as the time elapsing from validated time of sample receipt to the issuance of the report (by fax, mail or courier). RUSH turnaround is available (requires pre-approval) and may incur additional charges.

Standard turnaround time of 10 working days is standard for most analytical services. Certain UST analyses (as indicated) have a normal turnaround time of 5 to 7 working days.

Turnaround time for samples received after 3:00pm will begin on the next business day.

Turnaround time for samples received on Saturday will begin on the next business day.

Turnaround times are subject to change based on the current workload. RUSH TAT requests must be approved by the laboratory prior to sample receipt in order to ensure that expected TAT can be met.
